I have been an active member of the prestigious New York Alumni Chapter since 2018, where I took on the role as being the Chapter’s Secretary. With this role, I have been involved in several planning committees, and have witnessed significant or successful outcomes, under the leadership of the current President.
My proudest or greatest achievement was the Annual Membership Drive of summer 2019, where I worked with several committee members, and raised over $1,000, and increased membership by at least 20%. I am truly encouraged to be a part of such a progressive Alumni Chapter whose President and Board takes such pride and interest in their Alma Mater, by giving back. Giving back is their ultimate goal, and everything is centered around making YC the “BEST” High School in Jamaica!
